   The YSSC was founded in 1976 with the aim of supporting and bringing together all those in the Yorkshire area with an interest in the breed.

The Club holds two Open Shows and one Championship Show each year.  For enthusiasts wishing to learn more about the breed or improve their judging skills, seminars/Breed Appreciation Days are usually held every other year.  Full details can be found on our Events page.

We also run an online puppy register, which covers all areas, and gives details of any puppies that may be available. Very occasionally, adult shelties may also become available – these can be found on our adult register.
